Information on School committee members

The Governors of Wray Common Primary School represent the community, parents, the Greensand Trust, and staff.

The Governors make a very important contribution to the success of our School. The committee has key responsibilities in relation to strategic planning, school finances and the curriculum. They provide support and challenge to the Head Teacher. The Governing Body is not involved in judging the quality of teaching and learning, or with the day-to-day management and administration of the school. Each governor serves a four-year term of office. Governors are elected by the parent or staff body or appointed by the governing body in the case of co-opted governors. If you want to find out more about the role of the governors please ask for information at the office or talk to one of our serving governors.

Contact the governors via the school email: info@wray-common.surrey.sch.uk
