As part of Year 1's history topic on the Great Fire of London, they had lots of fun building Tudor houses. They found out that in 1666 houses were built very close together and with the help of Mr Steel, they then set their houses on fire! They could see how quickly the fire spread because the houses were too close - it was amazing to see the flames and the smoke.

Year 6 had a fantastic time on their residential trip to High Ashurst, taking part in a range of exciting activities including wall climbing, high ropes, archery, fire building and teamwork challenges. The children showed great enthusiasm, resilience and cooperation throughout the visit, embracing every opportunity to challenge themselves and try something new. Between activities, they enjoyed spending time with friends in the tents and around the campsite, while the hearty meals kept everyone fuelled for the adventures ahead.
