Today, our school proudly took part in Red Nose Day, raising money for Comic Relief. This year's theme, "Take Yourself Funny for Money," gave everyone the perfect opportunity to have some fun while supporting a great cause. Children were invited to wear something red or come dressed in a funny outfit, and they certainly rose to the occasion with lots of creative and cheerful looks. In the spirit of the day, children also shared some of their funniest jokes with one another, filling the school with laughter. We are currently in the process of counting the total amount raised, as we have received both online donations and cash contributions. Our JustGiving page remains open until next Friday, so if you would still like to donate, your support would be greatly appreciated.

Year 6 took part in an exciting and memorable science lesson as they explored the structure of the heart through a hands-on dissection. This engaging experience brought their learning to life, allowing pupils to see and understand how this vital organ works in a real and meaningful way. As part of the Greensand 'Wonders of Science curriculum', children are given opportunities to hold something truly extraordinary in their hands - sparking curiosity, deepening understanding, and inspiring a lasting interest in the world around them. #greensandmultiacademytrust #WrayCommon #science
